So let me get this straight... The Home Office DO get paid additional sums by the post office (which are apparently to pay off the install/setup)......

Their "delay letter" in October said they aim to fully reply by 10 November, which is a month ago. Slow!
Maybe "should do", but by default they want to avoid releasing anything. Looks better than releasing a letter with 2 redacted paragraphs, for example....
Ask them to release the correspondence, but with only the specific sections exempt from disclosure under section 31(1) (e) redacted.
