The information you have requested is information we make available to the
public on a regular basis. Your request has been handled under normal
business practices and not in accordance with the Freedom of Information
Act/Environmental Information Regulations.

At the time of interest, the speed limit was 50mph. This had been set on
signals at 11:43 and remained in place until 12:29. Message signs in the
area were also set to display ‘accident on slip road’.

 

Enforcement of speed restrictions is the responsibility of the
Police. We are unable to comment on, or provide you with
advice about alleged offences. Within the judicial process, information
held by the police will always take legal precedence. This response is for
information only and cannot be used in court for the purpose
of challenging an allegation of offending. 

 

Part of the evidence the Police obtain are images which show the vehicle
as it passes the enforcement camera site. You can view this image by
requesting a copy from the relevant Police Camera Partnership. Here's a
