LED street light installation illnesses IMPACT ASSEMENT

The request was successful.

Dear Wiltshire Council,

Please can you advise and provide me with any information relating to the procurement of LED street lights which may be harmful to peoples health. Have any impact assessments been done in relation to the pulsing and colour frequency ranges (especially blue end spectrum light) prior to the roll out of these lights.

I would also like to know if the work by Essex University and Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) research which links LED lights to hormonal changes and cancer clusters (breast and prostate) where these lights have been fitted - and if this research data has been viewed by the council.

Yours faithfully,
