Dear Ms Fontana,

Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/8410919

Thank you for your request for information received on 18 February 2019,
in which you asked for the following:

The number of preferences submitted by 15 January 2019 for reception
places for September 2019 for each of the schools listed below (broken
down by first choice, second choice, third choice etc):

1) Bounds Green Infant and Junior School

2) Coldfall Primary

3) Muswell Hill Primary

4) Our Lady of Muswell RC

5) Rhodes Avenue Primary

6) St James' CE Primary

7) St Martin of Porres RC

8) Tetherdown Primary

9) Eden Primary

My response is as follows:

We are currently processing applications, and will be publishing the total
number of preferences on the Haringey website after national offer day on
16 April 2019. London-level information on the number of applications and
preferred school place offers, including any statistics that indicates
whether schools are oversubscribed is embargoed by London Councils until
after national offer day. We are happy to provide the full data requested,
broken down by preference, after this date.

If you are unhappy with how we have responded to your request you can ask
us to conduct an Internal Review. If so, please contact the [1]Feedback
and Information Team. (Please note you should do so within two months of
this response.)

Yours sincerely,

Dear Sue,

Many thanks for passing this on to the relevant person. Can you kindly chase up this information please as it has now been over 40 working days and while I appreciate the reason for delaying until 16 April there is no reason I can see for a further delay in providing a substantive response now.

Yours sincerely,

Natalia Fontana

Dear Haringey Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Haringey Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'School preferences for September 2019 reception places'.

Despite requesting the information back in mid-February, I was told I could not be provided with the information within 20 working days as the information was embargoed until 16 April (national offer day). I understand the reason for this but, given the already long delay, the information should have been released immediately on national offer day. Instead, we are now over a week since national offer day and the information has still not been provided which is unacceptable.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s...

Yours faithfully,

Natalia Fontana

Dear Ms Fontana
Thank you for your email below which was passed to me to look at as an Internal Review. I have checked our website and there is information there relating to school preferences.

https://www.haringey.gov.uk/children-and...

Please click on the above link, if there is still information that you would like, please put in a further FOI request.

I trust that the information above is sufficient.

Thanks & regards

Dear Clay Lesley,

I have already seen this information but this is NOT the information I requested. I asked how many people in total put each of the named schools as first preference, second preference etc. The information already online only gives that information in relation to children who were actually offered a place.

Yours sincerely,

Natalia Fontana
