The State Pension Change 2011 Pension Act 20/12/2018

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Having my male pension age increased by 1 year to my SPA date now at 66 I cannot recall having a letter sent to me between January 2012 and November 2013 or indeed seeing a Leaflet as described by Mr Guy Opperman, please could you assist me by supplying me with the below request.

From a briefing paper reference Number CBP-7405, on the 16 November 2018 from the House of Commons Library:

It has been recorded what The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (Mr Guy Opperman) had said:

Which was that:

The DWP had sent out communication to those affected by the Pensions Act 2011 changes.
Mr Guy Opperman said the letters were sent between January 2012 and November 2013, which involved sending over 5 million letters with an accompanying leaflet.

My Freedom of Information Request is:

Please could you supply me a copy of that accompany leaflet that The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Mr Guy Opperman had reported in the briefing paper reference Number CBP-7405 that was sent out to those affected by the Pensions Act 2011 changes, which involved sending over 5 million letters with an accompanying leaflet.

Please could you supply me the reference number of the leaflet also, in order to obtain a copy if you do not have it on file.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Bryan Langton
