My Wife is 86, she is disabled, can she claim mobility allowance and DLA?
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
My wife is 86, she cannot walk without assistance. Can she claim DLA and mobility allowance. Who does she apply to and what evidence of her condition is needed. She is on a very small pension.
Yours faithfully,
Bernard Lees-Smith

Bernard,
I'm sure the DWP will reply in due course, however, you may find the following link on gov.uk to be of use: https://www.gov.uk/attendance-allowance
Unfortunately, PIP is only available for new claimants aged 18-64.
Hope this is of some assistance.
