OLEV funded EV rapid charge points

The request was successful.

Dear Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council,

I am undertaking a small project to the use of the government funded (via OLEV) rapid charge points for the new eclectic vehicles coming onto our roads.

If your authority did not take advantage of any of any of these schemes? I thank you for your time and would just ask you to confirm so I can close your record.

If you authority did take advantage, I would like to ask you for the following.

Question one,

In total how many rapid charge points did you succeed in being awarded?

Who were the manufacturers and the number supplied by each?

a) ABB

b) Cir Control as supplied by APT-E Volt and British Gas

c) DBT as supplied by Charge Master, Elektromotive and others

d) Efacec as supplied by Siemens

…e) any other (please specify)

We understand an option of the funding authorities were able to “gift” or assign these charge points to 3rd parties.

Question two,

…Did your authority take advantage of this feature? If yes please advise to whom, the location, number of units and the manufacture of the rapid charge points.

Yours faithfully,

John West
