Dear BritCits,

Thank you for your below enquiry, which as a general enquiry has been answered outside of the Freedom of Information Act.

The Case Information Database (CID) began in 2000. Both after-entry operational and caseworking actions are recorded on it.

The database contains personal data submitted as part of the application, and includes the main applicant's data and their dependants. The database also records outcomes of applications along with caseworking notes taken as part of the decision making process.

Yours sincerely,

Information Access Team

Dear Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ),

My question - to be answered within the FOI Act, or outside if you prefer, is for details of this data.

So for applicant and their dependants, what does the CID capture: First name, Surname, Sex, Nationality, DOB etc.

And any other such information e.g. decision (when made, sent to applicant, details of sponsor) etc.

Yours sincerely,

BritCits

Dear Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ),

You have not answered my question. From your response, I understand what some of the cells contain information on. I am asking for information on all the cells within the CID. No doubt there is also an address cell, which is not mentioned by you, indicating you are not providing me with a complete answer as I suspect there are others like that - which is exactly what I am seeking clarification on.

Yours sincerely,

BritCits

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'CID'.

Several months and still no response. I have asked for data captured within CID which should be a list of the column/row headings.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/cid
