FOi request cyber abuse

The request was partially successful.

Dear Lancashire County Council,
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing with a request to participate in an England wide study into the impact social media and the internet is having on our work places. This being from a human relation stand point in addition to the economic and productivity levels of staff.

All Rise Say No to Cyber Abuse is an international company based both in Australia and the UK. (http://www.allrisesaynotocyberabuse.com/)

For the first part of 2016 we have conducted a study into the NHS in the UK which indicated the changes in the use of the internet had been having an impact more than we first realised.

The study is very simple and requires only 2 minutes of your time.

There are two questions based on the time period January 2013 - July 2016

1. Does your organisation have a cyber abuse or cyber trolling/bullying or social media policy - or a related policy such as Bullying and Harassment or Internet Usage - where cyber abuse or cyber bullying is mentioned? if so can I request a copy?

2. Have any staff at your organisation (names or specific details are not needed) - been disciplined or suspended, or their employment terminated due to anything related to cyber abuse, social media conduct, cyber bullying, internet usage, or bullying and harassment by electronic means?

It would be appreciated a response electronically - by email.

If you require any further information please let us know.

Thank you.

Kind regards
Jane Keep - Mobile 07876140413

Dear Ms Keep,

Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Further to your email dated 31^st July, in which you request the
disclosure of information under the provisions of the above Act, we are
now in a position to respond.

1.    Does your organisation have a cyber abuse or cyber trolling/bullying
or social media policy - or a related policy such as Bullying and
Harassment or Internet Usage - where cyber abuse or cyber bullying is
mentioned? if so can I request a copy

2.    Have any staff at your organisation (names or specific details are
not needed) - been disciplined or suspended, or their employment
terminated due to anything related to cyber abuse, social media conduct,
cyber bullying, internet usage, or bullying and harassment by electronic
means?

Please see attached the bullying and harassment policy and the code of
conduct which covers the acceptable use of social media.

As the services within Lancashire County Council manage their own
disciplinary proceedings and a central log of disciplinary cases or
dismissals in general is not held it is not possible to provide this
information as to collate this information would incur a commitment of
resources in excess of the limit of £450 set by the Freedom of Information
and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004 (SI No.
3244 of 2004), which equates to 18 hours of work. Section 12(1) of the
Freedom of Information Act provides that a public authority is not obliged
to comply with a request where to do so would exceed such a limit.

In the event that you wish to complain about the manner in which your
enquiry has been handled, you should write in the first instance to The
Freedom of Information Officer, Lancashire County Council, PO Box 78,
County Hall, Preston PR1 8XJ, or email
[1][Lancashire County Council request email] and the matter will be referred
to an Information Governance Manager for review and reconsideration.

If, after this stage, you remain dissatisfied, you have the right to refer
the matter to the Information Commissioner, whose contact details are as
follows:
