4.         Details of day services both local authority run and private
sector run. Including:

i.          Provides

ii.         Number of users per service

Please see attached Excel spreadsheet.

There are two building based day services in the North Lancashire area
that offer a day service to adults with mental health needs. Both services
are jointly funded with our CCG partners. The current support provider is
Creative Support however both services are currently going through the
re-procurement process.

The Lighthouse at Cleveleys (Fylde and Wyre) offer a service to 112 people
per month (average).

The Helm at Lancaster (North Lancashire) offer a service to 138 people per
month (average).

There is also an independent day service in the Lancaster and Morecambe
area called Peer Support and they offer a service to 25/30 per day over
the two venues.

5.         Copy of your day service strategy. There is no day service
strategy for AMH services.

6.         What is the local authorities commissioning need for Day
Service opportunities for:

a.         Adults with Learning Disabilities

b.         Adults with Mental Health

c.         Adults with Autism

There is not a commissioning need for day service opportunities in the
traditional sense of the term however there is definitely a need to
support people experiencing social isolation. There are many ways to meet
that need, ranging from reconnecting with informal support networks that
might be offered by family and friends, accessing universal services,
accessing the integrated well- being service to commissioning bespoke
packages of care.

I hope the above is informative.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs P. Hall
