birmingham universal infant free school meals (UIFSM) additional funding requests

The request was successful.

Dear Birmingham City Council,

On 16th October, DfE announced a new tranche of capital funding for
its universal infant free school meals policy, the original
guidance contained the sentence; “Because bids may exceed available
funding, it is essential that local authorities provide strong
evidence in support of their bids”

I believe it is in the public interest for local authorities to
confirm if they bid on behalf of any schools and if so, publish the
application documents for all schools with bids in for this
additional funding.

To include names of the schools, descriptions of the works and
equipment, the total cost of the project, the amounts being asked
for, along with other sources of funding. The evidence given in
support of each individual bid and the outputs and VFM they expect.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Jolley
