FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST –  FOI-14-0895

Dear Sir / Madam,

Your request for information has now been considered and the information
requested is given below.

Could you please release any message(s) sent to members of
Cambridgeshire's Police and Crime Panel inviting them to, or alerting them
to, the meeting(s) of the panel on the 19th of June 2014.

Please refer to attachment 1 for the information you require.

Please note that the email dated 17^th June 2014, was only sent to those
people that hadn’t replied to the initial diary invite.

In order to supply the information in attachment 1 it has been necessary
to redact information which we consider to be exempt. The exemptions we
have relied on and the reasons we believe they apply are outlined below.

The names and other personal information relating to individual third
parties have been redacted as this information is exempt under Section
40(2). We believe this exemption applies because the individuals would
have a reasonable expectation of privacy. We believe that disclosure of
this information would not be fair or lawful, and would therefore breach
the second data protection principle as outlined in Schedule 1 of the Data
Protection Act 1998.

Re-use of information

You may re-use any documents supplied for your own use, including for
non-commercial research purposes. The documents may also be used for news
reporting. However, any other type of re-use, for example by publishing
the documents or issuing copies to the public will require the permission
of the copyright owner, where copyright exists.  Such a request would be
considered separately in accordance with the relevant Re-use of Public
Sector Information Regulations 2005 and is not automatic.  Therefore no
permission is implied in the re-use of these documents, until such a
request for re-use has been made and agreed, subject to any appropriate
conditions.

You may re-use any dataset included in this response (excluding logos)
free of charge, in any format or medium, under the terms of the Open
Government Licence v2.0. To view this licence, visit the [1]National

This response shows the pre-meeting of the panel which I observed taking place ( https://twitter.com/RTaylorUK/status/479... ) was not arranged by the secretariat.

It also shows the secretariat making a significant effort to ensure meetings of the panel are quorate.
