Youth Service Staff Qualifications

to the WIgan Council Youth Service.

a) How many staff are employed by Wigan Council Youth Service?

b) How many staff working in the Council Youth Service have a level
3 youth work support qualification?

c) How many staff within the Council Youth Service work in a senior
management position? and how many of them hold a professionally
recognised NYA accredited/JNC endorsed youth work qualification?
(not other degrees in different subject/academic areas)

d) How many other full and part time staff employed within the
Council Youth Service also hold a professionally recognised NYA/JNC
accredited and endorsed youth work qualification? (DIP HE, Degree
or Post Graduate level)

e) How many staff employed by the service are currently
working/studying towards a professionally recognised NYA/JNC youth
work qualification at either degree or post graduate level at
College or University

f) The numbers of staff employed by the Council Youth Service who
are currently studying towards a level 3 qualification in Youth
Work.

request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Your request and our response in blue is detailed below.
In relation to the FOI request below, there are 86 staff employed in the
Youth Service.
 
Unfortunately we do not able to respond to points b) to f) as we do not
have details of qualifications on our system.
 
a) How many staff are employed by Wigan Council Youth Service?
 
b) How many staff working in the Council Youth Service have a level3 youth
work support qualification?
 
c) How many staff within the Council Youth Service work in a senior
management position? and how many of them hold a professionally recognised
