Regarding the recent contract award to the Access group servelec core+ system to your youth offending team, please breakdown what the unusually high costs for a system of this size were for 3 years - £123,604.67
for example was this just annual support and maintenance and hosting charges, or were there other services included? were additional modules added on (such as youth service NCCIS, IYSS etc)

Response:
This information is exempt from disclosure under Section 43 of the Freedom of information Act. Section 43 exempts information from the right of access under the Freedom of Information Act if disclosure of the information would prejudice someone’s commercial interests.
The Council can further confirm that the contract was let under the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) G Cloud 13 contract.
The Council will not release a breakdown of the costs relating to this contract for the following reason:
The information relating to costs is exempt from disclosure under Section 43 of the Freedom of information Act. Section 43 exempts information from the right of access under the Freedom of Information Act if disclosure of the information would prejudice someone’s commercial interests.
The information withheld under the exemption relates to costs negotiated with external consultants. City of Doncaster Council believes that the release of this information would be likely to cause commercial prejudice to the businesses involved.
As Section 43 is a qualified exemption, the City of Doncaster Council is obliged to consider whether disclosure of the information would be in the public interest before refusing to supply the information. Therefore, the City of Doncaster Council has taken the following factors into account:
