Your policy on inviting victims to a "meeting".

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman,

Over a period of 3 years, the victims of PHSO maladministration requested a meeting with different staff and members of the Executive Board. Their objective was to best understand (and hopefully) resolve the cycle of Misconduct In Public Office that has been progressed against them.

For 3 years The Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman ignored or turned down their offers for a Resolution Meeting.

Suddenly, the director of Legal Services is writing to those victims and proposes a meeting.

A) What is going on?

B) Is the sudden change of attitude anything to do with the fact that those same victims who failed to engage PHSO staff in resolution meetings since 2013 went on to report Misconduct in Public Office to The Metropolitan Police a few months ago?

C) Is this change shift in attitude by the PHSO anything to do with the fact that the victims intend to continue reporting genuine examples of MISCONDUCT IN PUBLIC OFFICE to the Serious Fraud Team at Scotland Yard?

Yours faithfully,

Fiona Watts

Fiona Watts,

Thanks for alerting me to this apparent change in policy.

At a recent PACAC meeting Mick Martin, former Managing Director and Deputy Ombudsman, said it was important that "we sit down with the family":

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d...

I made the following FOI request:

"2. Please provide details of the number of times in the year 2014/15 you 'did sit down with the family'."

I got this reply:

"...the information you have requested is not readily searchable within our case management system and is not formally recorded as a data requirement on each case. Extracting the information requested for the year requested would therefore require a manual search of each investigation handled in 2014/15 ..."

They might now have some information on the matter, but then again...

Some information on Mick Martin can be found here:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

There is a link to an article about him in the Independent with the shocking headline:

"NHS complaints watchdog deputy quits over sexual harassment cover-up"

Dear J T Roberts,

You have been a great support tome on here. Thank you.

I am perplexed as to why none of the cases that has Mick Martin helped to sabotage have been subjected to an historical review?

The Deputy Ombudsman was proven to be a fraudulent character.

The real problem is that the UK seems to have become some kind of serfdom. It seems that you and I do not seem to have any basic human rights as a citizen.

I am running out of "fight". The corrupt Doctors, Complaint Managers, NHS lawyers, Judges and Ombudsman seem to have won after all

Fiona Watts left an annotation ()

Another thing J T Roberts,

Do they wait until the system has completely broken the victim before the PHSO agrees to meet the victims of cover up?

Thank you for the links that you share on here. You inspire us all to try not to give up on the TRUTH.

All they had to do was conduct Mick Martin's diary ( that's check with his secretary)to see how many times he had sat down with families.

But then again, the last time he sat down with a complainant -Helen Marks- it didn't turn out too well for her...or indeed eventually, for him.

He promised Helen Marks a 'Helen-centric investigation.

Then got an old colleague to 'investigate' her.

And then allowed him to take her job.

http://www.cloisters.com/images/Marks_-_...

So maybe it is best that he didn't 'sit down ' with complaints at the PHSO - only to continue his brand of Derby NHS
' investigation' to the detriment of PHSO complainants, whose cases he was supposed to be independently investigating,

Thank you for your e-mail to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. This return e-mail shows that we have received your correspondence.

Dear J Roberts,

Thank you for your annotation on 23rd May 2016 but the update is that I am as confused today as the remit and policies of the PHSO as I was on 23rd May 2016.

The Statement of Truth presented by SERCO's barrister from 16th October 2015 to 23rd December 2015 and then again in March 2016 confirms that over 50 staff at the PHSO shared and distributed files from Suffolk NHS and The Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust that were riddled with factually incorrect data.

All decisions and reports made by staff at the Ombudsman was based on that FACTUALLY INCORRECT data progressed by 5 NHS sites in Suffolk.

a) No meetings seems to have been progressed since May 2016.
b) Was Helen Holmes continuing the PHSO agenda of giving false "HOPE"?
c) The ability to keep good mental hygiene is a challenge due to that style of administration.

I am utterly perplexed as to why the Ombudsman is so against any opportunity to resolve that data that is factually correct?

Yours sincerely,

Fiona Watts

Dear Aimee Gasston,

You are demonstrating "form" in your response to my FOI request.

Please answer my FOI on here because your style of response is confusing me and you have "form" in ignoring my pleas for clarity ( in private correspondence and in public) since 2012.

Dear Miss Watts

Your information request: FDN-274268

I write in response to your email of 3 January 2017, in which you
requested information held by the Parliamentary and Health Service
Ombudsman (PHSO). Specifically, you have asked for a copy of the PHSO’s
policy or procedures on organising meetings with victims of negligence,
medical errors and maladministration by Public Servants.

I have considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

All of PHSO’s policies are published on its website at the following link:
[1]http://www.ombudsman.org.uk/about-us/bei...

Further to this information which is available in the public domain, we
hold nothing relevant to your request as there is no specific policy on
meeting with complainants.

I hope that this information is useful. If you believe we have made an
error in the way I have processed your information request, it is open to
you to request an internal review. You can do this by writing to us by
post or by email to [2][Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman request email]. You will need
to specify what the nature of the issue is and we can consider the matter
further. Beyond that, it is open to you to complain to the Information
Commissioner’s Office ([3]www.ico.org.uk).

Yours sincerely
