Your Business Support Services

The request was successful.

Dear Lancashire County Council,

I am doing some research into how business support is delivered for corporate and customer services within county councils.

If possible, I would like to know how you in particular deliver your business support, for example:

Do you share your services with another council or outsource it? If so then do you have a business plan or details for this contract, such as deliverables and costs for this service?

Do you have your own pool of business support services/a hub within your council, and if so what activities do they deliver and where does it sit?

Do you have a detailed structure chart with several layers that you can provide to demonstrate how it works and the number of staff/size of the function?

Do you have any details about how much has been saved by functioning the service that way and how you have saved money?

Do you have any charts that show the processes that you use for customer journeys or particular software or systems that you use?

Many thanks for your help. Yours faithfully,

Sian Dowell
