Many thanks for your recent freedom of information request where you asked
for details on the total number of noise complaints relating to vehicle
noise, received by the council in the last year (2020).

I understand that you will have already received a partial response from
Tanya Lyon in the Neighbourhood Enforcement team who deal with domestic
noise issues at City of York Council. Please find below the second part to
the response from Public Protection who deal with commercial noise
complaints.

 

Between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2020 Public Protection received the
following noise complaints relating to vehicles.
