WW2 Medal Card Request

A Crotty made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Defence Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

I would like to make the following application under the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 for copies of the relevant World War Two Medal Card entries for – SAMUEL EDGAR HORROCKS D/JX158737 - MX876554 (SS3256/J23590)

This is additional to a previous request I submitted to the Directorate of Naval Personnel with the appropriate £30 fee. Service Documents were provided but not a Medal Card. Under these circumstances can a copy of the Medal Card be made available without an additional £30 charge?

Thank you for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

A Crotty
