Wrongful arrest

The request was refused by Thames Valley Police.

Dear Thames Valley Police,

I am writing to you regarding a police operation on 23/03/19 when 4 female Hunt Saboteurs were arrested and taken to Newbury Police Station. Could you tell me:

How many helicopters were deployed at this incident?

On what grounds was it/they deployed, what was the decision making behind it?

Who authorised the deployment of them? (rank and number)

What is the cost of deploying the police helicopter/s for this operation?

Yours faithfully,

Rita Harding
