Working people with disable family / not response from Hinckley Council

We're waiting for Mohsen to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council,

We moved from Stockton-On-Tees to Hinckley on 12/07/2015 due to my full-time permanent job as electrical technician in CCS technology which working on BMW project in Oxford. My wife has a long-term disability, tendon and Achilles surgery both feet from birth and difficulties to walk and steps and constant pain.
Many times I contacted and referred to Hinckley Council and discussed with Housing options officer Miss Chemayne Khangura but I was told that I made myself homeless intentionally
so they can not help me to get an accommodation even for temporary time . I tried to rent somewhere but first of all the rent of properties are very height , secondly I could not get any property due to my wife disability and finally some of them after appointment to view , they refused to make any tenancy contract .
now I am in very small room on first floor and share kitchen in ground floor two time my wife fell into the bathroom and I took her to Walk in clinic. But we were not registered yet and this is another problem.

I would like to follow my case to find out given that having strong local connection and priority for at least an accommodation through my wife issue but what was the main reason which Miss Chemayne Khangura in Hinckley council refused to help me. Thanks

Yours faithfully,
Mohsen

Dear Mohsen

I acknowledge receipt of your e-mail received by Hinckley & Bosworth BC
on: 20.07.2015.  However this is not a valid request for information under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or the Environmental Information
Regulations 2004.

Please see guidance for local authorities from the Information
Commissioners website below:

What is an information request?

It is very important to draw a distinction between requests and routine
correspondence. Requests for information that can be provided without any
question – such as recruitment brochures, leaflets, press releases and the
text of public speeches – should be treated as business as usual. Requests
which are not for recorded information, but instead ask questions, such as
‘please explain your policy on x’ or ‘please explain your decision to do
y’ are not requests for recorded information and therefore should be
treated as routine correspondence.

I have been informed that your request is being looked into as a formal
complaint. You should hear from them shortly.

Regards

Miss N Brooks
