Dear Ms Eastham,

We refer to previous correspondence regarding your request for information
relating to: Working from home.

The information is given below:

Q1. During the month of April 2022, how many council employees were
working from home, and what percentage of the office based workforce does
this represent? – North Kesteven District Council do not have any entirely
office based staff. To have fewer colleagues travel in for office-based
work was an aspiration in the Council’s emerging [1]Climate Emergency
Strategy and Action Plan in advance of the pandemic and remains a clear
strand in our Climate Action agenda separately to the adaption during the
Pandemic. We have calculated this response based on the pre-pandemic
office numbers. On average 150 colleagues were working at home during
April 2022, i.e. 75% of the pre-pandemic number.
Q2. Between 1st and 30th April 2022, how many desk bookings were made
across the council's office buildings and, on average, how many desk
bookings were there a day during this month? - 50 desk bookings made per
day on average.
Q3. How many desks were available for use in the month April 2022 across
the council's office buildings? – 90 desks available per day

Q4. What was the maximum number of office staff who could theoretically
work in the office on any given day in April 2022? – a maximum of 90
colleagues who would require desks

Q5. What was the total number of office staff who worked in your council's
offices each day prior to the pandemic? – 200 colleagues based at the
office excluding field workers
