Dear Abingdon and Witney College,

I am writing to remind you of my previous open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The response to my request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, you should have responded by now.

In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible.
Please can you provide information on the following:
1. Does your organisation use a Learning Management System and e-learning provision for employee / staff training?
2. If no, are there ongoing plans to purchase a Learning Management System and e-learning provision for employee training in the near future?
3. What is the name of the Learning Management System (product name) and which company is it purchased from?
4. Provide brief information of the current e-learning courses that are used in employee training.
5. Who provides the e-learning courses that are used in employee training?
6. Provide the development themes of the eLearning courses that are used in employee training (i.e. Compliance, Safeguarding, etc.)
7. Value of the current contract, date of commencement and date of expiry.
8. Who is responsible for ensuring the LMS and e-learning provision meets the local authorities training requirements?
9. Can you please provide your current organisational structure for the college.

If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary.

have received this request before.  I have no record of this.  When was it

In regard to your questions, I can neither confirm nor deny that Abingdon
and Witney College holds some of the information you requested.  A full

Dear Mr Sharman

Thank you for your request for information dated and received on 26 July
2018 concerning Abingdon and Witney College.  This request is being
handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

I am able to provide information as follows:

1. Does your organisation use a Learning Management System and e-learning
provision for employee / staff training? Not a specific Learning
Management System but we are developing e-learning for both staff and
students

2. If no, are there ongoing plans to purchase a Learning Management System
and e-learning provision for employee training in the near future?  No
plans

3. What is the name of the Learning Management System (product name) and
which company is it purchased from? Smartlog

4. Provide brief information of the current e-learning courses that are
used in employee training.  We use Smartlog for our Health and Safety,
Safeguarding / Prevent, E&D and GDPR training.

5. Who provides the e-learning courses that are used in employee training?
We write the modules

6. Provide the development themes of the eLearning courses that are used
in employee training (i.e. Compliance, Safeguarding, etc.) Compliance and
Safeguarding

7. Value of the current contract, date of commencement and date of expiry.

The system we use is a fire and safety management system and includes
training modules as an additional extra. We have four annual licences
running from May each year at a cost of £850 each.

8. Who is responsible for ensuring the LMS and e-learning provision meets
the local authorities training requirements? The College Leadership Team
lead

9. Can you please provide your current organisational structure for the
college. Attached
