The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Can you clarify the correct notification & referral procedures once a claimant is selected for the Work Programme? What recourse is there for a claimant if these are not followed? ie if the correct regulations & policy are not followed does this not invalidate the whole referral, and what rights does the claimant have in such a situation?

Yours faithfully,

E. Taylor

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Work Programme Notification & Referral Procedure'.

You have sent me much of the information requested, thank you, however the information does not include what recourse exactly a claimant has who may not have been referred correctly, and who discovers the error themselves. e.g. Is there an appeal procedure? A complaints procedure? You also state that you do not hold guidance on non compliance with the agreed processes. Surely there must be some system in place to monitor these referrals?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/w...

Yours faithfully,

M Williams
