Woodland in West Berkshire

We're waiting for L. Gough to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear West Berkshire Council,

I hope you are well.

Two quick questions regarding Woodland in West Berkshire if I may:

#1 Does West Berkshire Council own any woodland?
#2 Is there a register or list of woodland owned by other individuals or companies other than West Berkshire council? If so please could I have a copy?

Many thanks,

L. Gough.

Dear Sir/Madam

Request for information: Woodland in Berkshire

Please see below the Council’s response to your request for information.

You have asked;

#1 Does West Berkshire Council own any woodland?

Yes, the Council owns the following woodland;

Barefoots copse, Cornwell Copse (both Tilehurst)

Withy Copse (also Tilehurst)

Little Copse (Cold Ash)

There are parts of woodland on Greenham Common and other commons in the
District but these are largely lowland heathland and are not identified
separately.

#2 Is there a register or list of woodland owned by other individuals or
companies other than West Berkshire council? If so please could I have a
copy?

We are not aware of any register or list of woodlands owned by other
organisations.
