Our response is as follows:

Please can you provide the total amount spent by the council on wooden street bollards since 2014 and the name of the supplier(s) of those bollards in the same time period. If possible please provide the quantity of bollards purchased during that time.

1. The total amount spent by the Council on Wooden bollards on the public highway since April 2014 (commencement of the 2014/15 financial year) is £122,540. This sum covers the cost of bollards at new locations as well as the cost of replacing existing bollards.
2. Wooden bollards are supplied and installed by the Council’s Highway’s contractor- JB Riney & Co Ltd.
3. Approximately 1200 Wooden bollards were installed over that time period.
