Dear Tower Hamlets Homes Limited,

Introduction:

As a 'result' of the Independent Audit of Leasehold Service
Charges:
http://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lgsl/8000...
THH have decided [without consulting us, of course!] to employ
wkconsulting who are 'social housing consultants' to 'help' with
'leaseholder engagement' and the 'leaseholder action plan', an
under-scoped, tick-box oriented and muddled approach to leaseholder
issues.

Wkconsulting is [so far] contributing 'templates' and bon-mots such
as 'draw a line in the sand', 'big ask' and other low value/high
cost consultancy pearls.

Letting this contract is also a tacit-admission of failure within
the day-to-day management, since they should be able to take care
of the audit remedies. Indeed, they should 'want' to!

Request:
1. How much are wkconsulting being paid, both day-rate for
consultants and total value of the contract?

2. Who is paying for the contract, leaseholders?

I'm not going accept 'commercially sensitivity' as an answer since
the contract is let and this is either my money or public money
[which is my money] or both.

Dear Jane L Jones,

Thanks very much for the information. Just a word of warning, I
don't want all the poisonous spin when I receive answers here
'excellent value for money' 'considerable savings' especially as
the latter has no factual basis and is therefore a lie, by the
standards of the real [non-Tower-Hamlets] world. Just give me the
data, the mediocrity of THH can easily speak for itself.

Disregard of this will lead to a formal complaint. In this
particular arena, I'm doing the asking and I'm doing the
commenting. You have your little 'newspeper' East End Lies to do
yours.

Quote-marks I have spent most of today trying to speak to the leasehold manager for my block,Victoria Solston.Unfortunately she was not at her desk today.
since the 19th 0f DEC 13 water has been coming through our windows damaging the interior of our property so I would like the matter dealt with sooner rather than later.It seems any time we deal with THH we get led round in circles.More power to people like Mr Barnard to actually find out where our service charge money goes and how much is allocated to the upkeep of our blocks .Watch this space ....Regards Henry O'Reilly
