Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please could you advise how much the Wirral View newspaper costs to produce annually.

Yours faithfully,

Phil Simpson

The table at 4.4 in this Cabinet report has the projected costs: .

However, as advertising revenue targets have not been met and some planned editions were scrapped due to the elections, there are some slight variations to those figures.

Some aspects (such as printing, sales and distribution) are now outsourced to three different organisations. The outsourced aspects are valued at £750,000 over 3 years (or £250,000 a year).

However there are staff at Wirral Council who are employed to create content for it too.
