Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

I would like to find out the amounts paid by each school/nursery/education provision in Wirral, in relation to temporary staffing cover (Teachers, Cover Supervisors, Unqualified Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Nurses, Exam Invigilators, Caretakers, School Administrators, Lunchtime Supervisors) from 2nd April 2018 to 29th March 2019

My hope is to receive an electronic breakdown (in excel) of the amounts paid by each school (Nursery, Primary, Secondary and SEN schools and alternative education provisions). The information I require for each school is:
- School name
- Amount spent,
- Whether it is for Teachers, Learning Support or other Support Staff
- The company this money was paid to.

Further to your recent Freedom of Information enquiry in which you asked:

"I would like to find out the amounts paid by each school/nursery/education provision in Wirral, in relation to temporary staffing cover (Teachers, Cover Supervisors, Unqualified Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Nursery Nurses, Exam Invigilators, Caretakers, School Administrators, Lunchtime Supervisors) from 2nd April 2018 to 29th March 2019"

Please see the attached spreadsheet in response to your enquiry and note the following:-

•This FOI only covers Wirral maintained schools. Academies and alternative education settings are not part of the LA so no information is held for them.
•Where the school type states Academy, these school converted part way through the year, so this supply only relates to when they were a maintained school.
•Where the school name is the supplier the schools pay invoices directly from their chequebook account, so supplier details will only be available from the school.
•Two Wirral maintained Schools, Holy Spirit Primary and Mosslands School, does not process their invoices through the LA. Their information will only be held at school.
