Wind Turbine Appeal APP/B3030/A/13/2207822
Dear Planning Inspectorate,
Can you detail the number of letters that you have received from local residents opposing the Arcus Appeal APP/B3030/A/13/2207822
[NSDC ref: 13/00682/FUL] regarding a proposed wind turbine at Wigsley Old Airfield. Names and other confidential details are not requested, just the total number of letters of opposition.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Middleton
Thank you for your e-mail. It is receiving attention and, where a reply
is required, we will send one as soon as possible.
Dear Mr Middleton
Thank you for your email requesting information from the Planning
Inspectorate.
Please note that representations that we receive on an appeal are copied
to the local planning authority and they normally make these available
for inspection\copying. As a result, the information required in order
to answer your request is already, or will be, made publicly by the
local planning authority as part of the appeal process. However, the
case officer for the appeal has confirmed (at 10:58 this morning) that
they have received 50 interested party representations for this appeal.
Please note that the appointed Inspector's role is to determine the
appeal based on relevant planning policy, and in consideration of the
planning merits of the matters raised in the representations as well as
any other material circumstances. Therefore, the volume of 'objections'
received does not necessarily determine the outcome of an appeal.
Yours sincerely
Martin Long
