Widening Participation Schemes/ Programmes

J Sullivan made this Freedom of Information request to University of Nottingham Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please could you provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act (2000).

1) A list of all the widening participation schemes/ programmes aimed at Year 12 or 13 students that are offered by your university and their acceptance criteria for the following academic years: 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24.

If this information is available online, please could you provide a link to the relevant page on your website.

2) In relation to the schemes/ programmes you named for Question 1, please provide the following information for 2021/22, 2022/23:
a. The number of applications to each individual scheme/programme;
b. The number of places offered for each scheme/ programme;
c. Whether the undergraduate course the applicant is interested in applying for is considered when deciding to offer a place on the scheme/programme? A Yes/No response would be fine here;
d. If available, how many participants for each scheme/programme subsequently enrolled at your university on an undergraduate course.

3) Please could you also provide the information for Question 2(a)-(c) for 2023/24 for any scheme where applications have closed and places been awarded.

Thank you in advance for your help with this. If it was possible to provide the information in CSV or Excel format that would be very helpful.

If there is anything that needs clarifying, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I look forward to your response,
J Sullivan
