Why were suppliers of Thyroid medications T3 not I. Est
Dear NHS Improvement,
It is a disgrace that the NHS did not report their supplier of Thyroid Medication earlier. This needs serious investigation.
Yours faithfully
Sylvia Davies
Dear Ms Davies
Thank you for your email dated 2 May which we will be treating as an
enquiry as opposed to a request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act.
NHS Improvement is responsible for overseeing foundation trusts and NHS
trusts, as well as independent providers that provide NHS-funded care. We
offer the support these providers need to give patients consistently safe,
high quality, compassionate care within local health systems that are
financially sustainable. By holding providers to account and, where
necessary, intervening, we help the NHS to meet its short-term challenges
and secure its future.
Due to the nature of our role we feel that either the [1]Medicines and
Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) or the [2]Commission on Human
Medicines are the more appropriate organisation to provide you with a
substantive response. However, if I have misunderstood your enquiry please
let me know.
Kind regards
