The request was refused by Department of Health and Social Care.

Dear Department of Health,
I n late 2014 my late Father was placed on the L.C.P -and had a illegal DNR ORDR placed -all due to the whittington hospital wanting the bed -and my late Father being over 70 years of age - i wish to know the mortality rates of all patients of 70 -90 years of age on meyrick ward -from 2104 -7.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr/Ms Blake,

Thank you for your correspondence of 13 January about your late father.  I
have been asked to reply.

I was sorry to read of the death of
your father and I appreciate your concerns.

However, the Department of Health
and Social Care does not play a role in individual patient care and does
not hold
the information you have requested.  The
way services are provided is a matter for the NHS locally.  You may
therefore wish to contact the freedom
of information team at Whittington Healthcare Trust, as it will be best
placed
to help.  The email address is [1][email address].

I am sorry I cannot be more helpful.

Yours sincerely,

Rachael Okiya
