Why has OpenReach installed a large ugly pole next to our property?
Dear Office of Communications,
Last week OpenReach installed an ugly and large (30ft?) high metal pole next to our grade 2 listed building which is also in a conservation area. They they their plan is to run a cable from the pole to our listed building. We are trying to find which company made this service request - OR refuses to tell us - see extract from this morning below:
"Our pole is being used to connect a line at The Old Pump House. We’ll fly (at the moment) a single cable from our pole, to the old pumphouse. We can’t discuss who has placed the order, as this is a private order for service. As you can appreciate if you ordered a service of any kind, we wouldn’t share details with a third party or non-account holder."
As our Freehold company owns the land and the building you can image our concerns.
Yours faithfully,
David Chamberlain
