I refer to your request under the Freedom of Information Act for
information regarding wholetime firefighter transferees;

 

“Could you tell me how many external Wholetime Firefighter Transferees you
have taken on since the 1st January 2017?”

 

In order to provide the information you have requested, we need more
clarification;

 

 1. Are you seeking this information relating to Firefighter transferees
only, or for more senior positions (such as Station Manager or Group
Manager) as well?
 2. Are you seeking this information for those who applied through a
straight transfer process from another Fire and Rescue Service to us;
or those who were already employed by another Fire and Rescue Services
and were successful in applying via our usual wholetime recruitment
and/or as part of a promotion board for the above mentioned more
senior roles?

 

Please forward this clarification at your earliest convenience. Until such
time as this clarification is received, we shall hold your request in
abeyance and the statutory time limit will not apply until the
clarification is received. If I do not hear from you within 3 months I
shall take it that you do not wish to pursue this request and will
consider the request closed.

Three Firefighters have transferred to Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue
Service through a transfer process since 1 January 2017.
