Dear Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service,

I am requesting information on how many times you have recruited for wholetime firefighters since the January 1st 2000 (including the most recent application window in July 2020).

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic our practices may not meet our
usual response times and it may take longer for us to respond to your
requests. We will continue to work normally as far as we can, but, as the
situation continues to develop, the focus of the team may need to be
diverted to the most important aspects of this teams work which may place
unavoidable strain on our resources that we cannot avoid. We ask that you
please bear with us during this extraordinary period and we will endeavour
to keep you updated on the progress of your request. 

 

The Team are unable to take calls from external callers at present. We
hope this will be resolved soon.

There have been four wholetime firefighter recruitment campaigns since
2010:

 

2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.

 

We do not hold records for campaigns held pre-2010.

 

 

If you are dissatisfied with our handling of your request you have the
