Freedom of Information Mailbox, Buckinghamshire County Council

Dear Mr Sutcliffe

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Thank you for contacting Buckinghamshire County Council.

Your request for information has now been considered and our response is as follows:

Our Corporate Complaints Team have confirmed that they have no complaints recorded about this matter.

We can confirm, however, that concern has been expressed about such parking and around a year ago Transport for Buckinghamshire met the Parish Council on site to discuss options to prevent people parking on the verge. It was decided that if the Parish wanted to put bollards, knee high fencing or shrubs around the verge to prevent parking they would need to fund this. A further meeting occurred a few months ago with the Parish on site to discuss the issue.

The verge in question is on Grendon Road from opposite Yew Tree Farm to Lawn House Lane.

Please note that, on a general basis, we would not disclose the identity of any complainant (or complainants), nor any information that would allow a complainant (or complainants) to be identified. Indeed, any requests that were designed to seek such information could be considered unreasonable.

If you have a complaint about the handling of your request then please use the Council’s complaints procedure in the first instance by writing to:
