Dear Sarah,

 

Freedom of Information

With reference to your request detailed below, I can confirm the
following:

 

Circa 1993/1994 Dartford and Gravesham Health Authority was dissolved.
Acute services were taken up by the newly formed Dartford and Gravesham
NHS Trust and mental health services (including Livingstone hospital) were
taken up by the newly formed mental health Trust.

Paediatric services whether acute or mental health, would have followed
the same pathway.

 

Our record retention policy for paediatric records (acute) is for the
record to be kept until the child’s 25^th birthday or 8 years following
last treatment (whichever the greater).

 

If you require any information regarding your personal health record, we
would need to refer to you to our Access Officers in the Health Records
dept who would be able to confirm what records are held, if any.

 

With regard to mental health services, whilst this Trust does not hold any
