1. Please can you advise me of the name of the person from the Department for Health who contracted or commissioned the MRC (David Rae - IEH) to write the review on Organophosphates published in 1998?

2. Can you explain why this action was taken when the long-term health effects arising from low-level exposure to organophosphates had been known as far back as 1951 as shown in the Zuckerman report (link attached), had also been included the HSE MS17 published in 1980 and 1987 and when Guy’s Hospital Toxicology Unit had confirmed numerous cases of farmers with chronic injury caused by organophosphates?
