Information Regulations 2004. Please accept our apologies for the delay in
responding to you.
Specifically, you have requested the following information:
This relates to the "roundabout" or junction of Whitehorse Road, Thornton
Heath High Street, Grange Road and Whitehorse Lane.
Please provide details of the maintenance schedule for the planted areas.
Namely, who is responsible for the upkeep?
The Planters located at the junction of Whitehorse Road and Grange Road
are maintained by our Grounds Maintenance team.
In regards to litter and detritus, this is the responsibility of Veolia to
maintain. As an output based service there are no prescribed schedules for
the maintenance of the boarder and as such the service deploys the
required resource to maintain the area as and when required.
If Veolia are responsible please provide categoric evidence that they have
been maintaining the area for each of the past 12 month. For example, work
schedules and photos of finished work.
None held.
If Croydon Council are responsible for the upkeep please provide categoric
evidence that they have been maintaining the area for each of the past 12
month. For example, work schedules and photos of finished work.
N/A.
If either Veolia or Croydon Council are unable to produce evidence or
there has been no maintenance undertaken in the past 12 months please say
so.
We do not have any evidence available to support any regular cleansing
activities undertaken by Veolia.
