Which medical body recognises disability analyst as an approved qualification

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Can you tell me which medical body, GMC,NMC, Health professional council, or other non medical body, if appropriate, recognises the so called qualification disability analyst, approved or otherwise.

Can you also inform me of how many years training is involved to become an (approved) disability analyst, not including any recognised medical training needed to become registered with a medical qualification with the three main medical body's named above.

What independent company, that does not provide the so called disability analysts to ATOS/DWP provides the training and the examination tests for the person to receive the claimed qualification of disability analyst and where can a copy of the certificate be obtained to show that so so called qualification has been obtained.

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Conner

In addition, once the initial training has been completed they have to complete a number of assessments that meet a specified quality threshold. Should this read..." They have to complete a number of FAILED assessments that meet a specified quality threshold"

Well that is worrying. Not only their training is not recognised or accredited, but it depends on the type of benefits. Does that mean that the 21 days training for a nurse can be shortened, if the benefit is deemed less important?

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Which medical body recognises disability analyst as an approved qualification'.

The reply does not state which of the professional medical body's recognise the so called qualification of DISABILITY ANALYST
From the response given it can be assumed that the so called qualification is not recognised by any of the 3 medical body's as a qualification, and as such could not be used on a CV as a qualification.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Dear Department of Health,
Can you please tell me if the certification awarded by Derby
University to ATOS health care professionals is recognised as a
proper medical qualification, recognised by the General Medical
Council?

Yours faithfully,

They are plenty of disability analysts on the internet, Linkedin for example. Should we assume there are all Atos employees?

One other piece of evidence is clinching. When Atos work for other employers like the Royal Mail or the NHS, their decisions about unfitness for work are wholly different. That points ineluctably to the real truth, as I said at the end of the debate, that DWP are quite ready to accept, even require, this inhumanity if it is the only means to get 1.6 million disabled persons off Incapacity Benefit. The evil is not Atos – I make no excuse for them whatsoever since they could, and certainly should, walk away from so brutal and dehumanising a contract – but the real evil is the DWP (and no doubt the Treasury behind them) and the Ministerial instructions that set up this system – the descriptors, the regulations, the guidance, and all the rest. In fact in Kettering Atos have implemented all Harrington’s proposals and the accuracy of assessment is almost 100%, but it means only doing 4 assessments a day and DWP insists on 11.

BILL GUNNYEON, WE ARE ON YOUR TAIL............

Keep looking behind you. All the people you wronged are now looking for revenge..........

You are complicit in the worst acts against disabled since the Nazis......

Word is, even your own department have detested what your motives were....

Use whatever you like to make a record of your audible presentation. Since when did atos acquire the authority to decide how you make a record.
Atos HCP can misrepresent a client in all wca reports.
The only way to put a stop to this is to have an audio recording made of the wca.
Atos will offer to supply the audio equipment. When you arrive at your wca they will ask you to sign a waiver which states that you will not use the recording for any other purpose than to assist your claim. After all, the recording will belong to them and they can decide what a copy can be used for.
If you have a wca booked you can take your own recording equipment as long as you give formal notice that you intend to record. It could go like this "I hereby give formal notice of intent to make audio recording of my audible presentation during wca on (date) at (address). This recording will include audio recording of any other person attending wca and will be used for any porpose including but not limited to private prosecutions of hcp"
You do not need permission to give notice. Just push it in front of the hcp, and go ahead and record with whatever you feel would be admissible in court.
This will make the recording yours, and you can use it to prosecute the HCP privately. The Hcp can not hide behind the corporation when accused of misrepresentation which has caused loss or harm.
Small claims courts were designed to simplify claims, and I can assure you that you will be surprised at how easy it can be to prosecute. One step above small claims courts are fast track courts. These courts are also a breeze. Try visiting any of these courts and ask an official how to make a claim, they will gladly help you as it is in their interest to have the business.
