Dear The National Lottery Community Fund,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of The National Lottery Community Fund's handling of my FOI request 'Which is best: online or instore'.

I do not believe that the National Lottery Fund hold no information about whether their big winners have won via online or instore methods. In order to verify that a ticket is a big winner, this check is part of the Lottery Winner Advisor verification. Verifications are made on winner information (including ID and other checks) gathered at the winner's meeting with the Advisor, who will verify/validate the ticket and enter the winners information, in some sort of database - which I would expect is used to provide internal performance information to Management regarding winners. In order to validate/verify that a ticket is a winner, the Advisor checks would need to include whether it was an online or instore ticket.

Further to providing an honest answer to my original FOI request, I would also like you to identify, what internal Performance Indicators ("PI") your Managers collate regarding lottery winners - along with your PI results from Jan - November 2019.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/w...

Yours faithfully,

E Hobbins
