Thank you for your communication of 19th May which has been passed to
HMRC's Freedom of Information Team.

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
to contact us.

The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either
comply with HMRC's obligations under Freedom of Information Act or, if we

Dear Dobert,

I am writing in response to your request for information, received 19th
May.

Yours sincerely,

HMRC Freedom of Information Team

Dear [email address] on behalf of FOI Central Team,
Many thanks for your message. In response:
I made a request to the HMRC for details of tax receipts. The request was headed (as per instruction): 'History Letter Including Pay and Tax Details for the period, 2000 to 2016'. It was sent to HMRC and included my name, d.o.b., N.I. No., address and reasons for the request.
I received a package of information but it was not what was requested so, I requested the information again by phone and understood it would be sent to me. Having not received it, I complained.
It's unclear the difficulty and I don't care to escalate my complaint so seek instead to recover the information from an other competent gov. office.
My original request to you read: Dear HM Revenue and Customs, Apart from HMRC which other authorities are competent to supply details of personal income tax receipts.
