When will UK passports with "European Union" on the cover stop being issued? 
I can confirm the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU) holds information 
relevant to your request. However, we believe that the information is already reasonably 
accessible to you. 
Section 21 is engaged as this information is accessible to the public via other means. For 
information relevant to your request please follow the link below; 
The Immigration Minister Brandon Lewis has announced that after the UK leaves the EU, 
burgundy passports will continue to be issued but with no reference to the European Union.
