When someone purchases an expensive state asset for say £53m, they are permitted to defer payments in stages for up to five years?

Currently waiting for a response from Ministry of Defence, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Ministry of Defence,

When someone purchases an expensive state asset for say £53m, they are permitted to defer payments in stages for up to five years?

Is that correct?

In the example of the London sale of Brompton Rd former tube station in 2014 - did this happen? If so in which years were the payments made and what amounts?

Yours faithfully,
