When decision was made to grant loan of £125 m to UU towards Belfast Campus, and who was present

Dr. Anne Mc Closkey made this Freedom of Information request to Executive Office (Northern Ireland)

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Executive Office (Northern Ireland) should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dr. Anne Mc Closkey

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),

I'd be grateful if you could let me know when it was held, and who attended the meeting when the Executive agreed to lend UU £125m towards the costs of its Belfast Campus captial costs. Minutes of the meeting, or where they can be obtained would be especially useful. Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Clr. Anne Mc Closkey. MB.
Derry and Strabane District Council.

TEO FOI, Executive Office (Northern Ireland)

Clr. Mc Closkey. MB.

Thank you for your information request below.  In order to facilitate a
speedier resolution to your query, I am responding to you under line of
business rather than through the formal FOI process.

After consultation with colleagues within the Department I can confirm
that we do not hold any information on the subject below. Media reports on
line would suggest that the University of Ulster requested this loan from
the Department for the Economy. Therefore, the Department for the Economy
may hold the information you seek. You may find the following link to the
Department for the Economy in relation to Higher Education useful.

Department for the Economy.

I hope this has been of assistance.  If, however, you require a full FOI
response to reiterate the information above please let me know.

Thanks
