Wheelie Bins
Dear Sir or Madam,
1. Can you please tell me what surveys have been done to conclude that the people of Sutton Coldfield do not want Wheelie Bins?
2. Can you please tell me who is in charge of supplying Wheelie Bins to residents?
3. Can you please tell me which councillors have put a stop to residents of Sutton Coldfield receiving Wheelie Bins?

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your response. I was told when I requested information from my local councillor that a survey had been taken out for my area and the overall response was that the residents didnt want wheelie bins.
I now want to know using the Freedom of Information act:
a.When this survey was undertaken who was it by?
b. Who instigated it?
c. Who did they survey?
d. Finally, Last year I wrote to Ms Underwood, (councillor for Sutton Coldfield (Four Oaks, Mere Green)) about Wheelie bins and if it was possible to buy one. I was told that I can buy one, but I couldn’t leave my refuse in it as the Bin Men couldn’t collect it in the bin. I tried to get this rectified, but was told in no uncertain terms that it wouldn’t be possible as the older citizens wouldn’t be able to use them, (amongst other things)! Is this really the case?
Yours sincerely,
Simon Steggles

As our reply to your previous request indicated that no local surveys had
taken place but a Citywide one, I presume that the requests you make about
the surveys are to do with that.
The last part of your request, does not fall under the Freedom of

Constituency for them to address.
If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact a
