What proceedure Must Jocentre advisors adhere to in order to Madate a Work Activity?
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
First: What policy must Jobcentre Plus employees follow in order to Mandate Work Activity?
e.g. Must they...
First advise on sanctionable behaviour before the work activity begins?
Provide a good reason to issue the Mandate?
Issue the Mandate in writing?
Ensure the madate entails a meaningful improvement in claimaint emplyment prospects?
Ensure the Work Activity is appropriate to levels of Claimant competency?
The above is not intended to be an exhautive list, I wish to know ALL proceedure Jobcentre Plus employees must follow.
Second question: Are there, through the DWP, any disciplinary proceedures actionable against JCP employees who fail to follow the guidelines given in answer to the above?
Third: Are there any Legal ramifications pertaining to a failure to follow proceedure in reponse to the first question, for example, is there any proceedure which, if not adhered to, renders unlawful a JCP employees issue of a Mandate to Work Activity ?
