Dear South Lanarkshire Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of South Lanarkshire Council's handling of my FOI request 'What is the housing law concerning adding a person or family member to a housing application'.

I was referred to several council policy sites none of which had the answers to my questions! I was also referred to Scottish housing laws of which the council by law should have the answers to?
I cannot believe the council does not know it own housing laws! this is ridiculous.
Is this a way of delaying the answers requested, which clearly DO fall within the rights to ask a public authority its own laws & regulations regarding its housing policies.

NON OF THE BELOW QUESTION WE'RE ANSWERED I WAS REFERRED TO A COUNCIL HOUSING POLICY WEBSITE WHICH DID NOT PROVIDE THE ANSWER EITHER.
1. What is the housing law concerning adding a person or family member to a housing application
2. What is councils law/ responsibility in advising the addition of a person or family member to a housing application
3. What is the council's law/responsibility to advice given by a social workers recommendation concerning a medical reason to add said person or family member to a housing application in order to ensure a support system
4. What is the council's responsibility to a person when question 3, fails.
5. What is the council's responsibility to reprimanded it's workers failing to adhere to housing laws
6. What is the recommended action to take against the council when it's workers are continually failing to serve the publics best interests regarding advice on the housing law
7. What action is taken against its employees when they take a prejudice against a member of the public & wrongly advice housing laws
8. What is the law on providing a house for a family when the housing stock is not available
9. What is the law on the council purchasing new properties when housing stock is not available
10. What is the council's law/responsibility on timescales in housing families with a social work report on serious health conditions, mental health conditions (where a person has been sectioned & released) & over crowding in temporary accommodation.

Does no one at the council know the housing law, it's own policies or Scotland's housing rights?
Is it not in the freedom of information 'SCOPE' to be able to request the HOUSING law, policy, or rights?

Is this delaying tactic's?

I request an internal review!

Yours faithfully,

kelly morgan
