Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Thank you for the quick reply.

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'What is the current ratio of Decision Makers to Pension Credit Claimants nationally?'.

I note that you have included the time required for administering this request, ie considering the exemption or redacting parts of the information, in your calculation. ICO advice indicates that this activity does not fall within the list of activities which are permitted to be included (see https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...).
For this reason I believe the exemption is invalid, and request that you review your response.

Using the Department's definition of a decision maker which 'covers a wide range of the Pension Credit claims process, including clerical intervention and system-based decisions’. How many decision makers are there and how many claimants are there please?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/w...

Yours faithfully,

Andy Pennington
