What herbicides/weed killers do the council spary in parks, on foot paths, verges and cyclepaths.
Dear Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council,
I was shocked to find an employee spraying chemicals that are highly toxic for dogs and animals along a very popular dog walking path this morning and without any adequate signage warning the public of this. All weedkilling chemicals are highly toxic to animals for 24 hrs after spraying, its written in the guidelines of usage for ALL herbicides as they all contain toxic elements that animals should be kept away from for at least 24 hrs or symptoms "including vomiting, diarrhea and death" may occur.
I would like to know the names - brand and chemical - of the herbicide chemicals or "weed killers" that Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council uses to spay along the footpaths, in parks, along verges and cycle paths.
Yours faithfully,
scott watkins
